About Us

Kenton Pre-school provides an equal opportunity for all children in Kenton and surrounding area to receive high quality pre school education. We offer your child a carefully planned curriculum which covers the Early Learning Goals. It encompasses personal and social development, language, literacy, maths development, knowledge and understanding of the world , physical and creative development.

Our aim is to provide a safe, stimulating environment in which your child learns through play. As a parent you will be directly involved with the activities of the group and in your child's own progress.

Opening Times

Monday - Friday	9.30-12 noon
Extended Hours
Tuesdays	12 noon - 1pm	lunch for rising 5's for children in their final term before starting school then 1-3.30pm at Kenton Primary School
Thursdays	12 noon - 2pm	lunch club where children bring their own packed lunch
Fridays	12 noon - 1pm

We take children from 3 years old until they start primary school. The number of children attending each session varies but we operate a maximum ratio of one adult to eight children as recommended by the Pre-school Learning Alliance, although with parent help we usually manage a ratio of one adult to five children.

Fees

For those children not yet eligible for Early Years funding there is a fee for the first term of £4.50 per session. For those who have used up their five vouchers there is a fee of £8.23 per session. Extended sessions are charged at: -

Tuesday fee: £2.50
Thursday fee: £5.00
Friday fee: £2.50
