Starting at Halberton Pre-School

This can be a very bewildering time for any child so we encourage parents to accompany their child for as long as necessary. Pre-School's informal structure recognises the needs of the individual child and we have found that a little of your time at the start can help your child settle happily.

Hours of Attendance

There are five sessions each week (term-time only): -

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday : 9.00am to 12 noon
• Tuesday : 12.15pm to 3.15pm

A drink of milk/juice and a healthy snack are provided at each session.

On a Tuesday afternoon the children bring a packed lunch and supervisors and children eat together as a group. We have found this to be a vital part of their personal and social development, encouraging communication and at the same time observing good manners.

Fees

Free from the term after the child's 3rd birthday, £5.00 per session prior to this.

Clothing

To enable children to play freely with paint, sand, water, dough and clay we would appreciate the wearing of suitable clothing and sensible shoes. Aprons are provided but accidents do happen! We encourage the purchase of Pre-School Sweatshirts and/or T-shirts!
