- We are a Committee run Playgroup. Our staff are highly qualified and have trained in Pre-school Practice/NVQ3 , Music and Movement, Child Protection, First Aid, Special Needs and more.
- Most of our staff have been with Busy Otters for a long time, some exceeding 17 years, and we believe that continuity and stability plays a big part in the “early years” of a child’s development. This is reflected in our latest Ofsted inspection July 2004.
- We have a large room for physical play and educational activities, also a craft room with a sand tray, painting table, play-dough area and an arts and crafts table. We also have a safe and secure area for outdoor play, weather permitting

| Thursday | 9.30 - 12 noon plus Little Otters 0-5 toddler club 1-2.45 pm |
| Friday | 9.30 - 12 noon plus Baby Otters 0-3 baby club 1-2.30 pm |
Current Playgroup Fees
| Children 3 in a previous term | Can apply for up to 5 sessions per week free funding |
| Children 2 ½ - 3 this term | £5 per session |
| Children requiring more than the 5 funded sessions per week | £7.92 per session |
We welcome children from 2 ½ to rising 5s in a stimulating environment which enables your child to “learn through play.”
